Joel Ofori-Teiko is a mechanical engineer and project manager with a passion for excellence. From his early days at Atlantic Concrete Products, where he played a pivotal role in the Tema Port Expansion Project. Also to his time at Tullow Oil Ghana Limited as an Asset Management Engineer, Joel has always been driven by a desire to make a difference. Joel’s unwavering commitment to excellence at Tullow Oil ensured offshore vessel issues were properly documented. His thirst for knowledge led him to BSpec Autosports, where he spent 18 months honing his skills in making automobiles perform at their peak.
As a Project Delivery Specialist at Heritors Labs, Joel plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Africa Deep Science and Future Innovation Centre. With his sharp eye for opportunity and his ability to capitalize on available resources, Joel actively seeks out partnerships that can help drive the project forward. His dedication and hard work are key to the success of this ambitious initiative.
But Joel’s dreams don’t stop there. He has a passion for vintage cars and a vision for transforming them into something truly special. His ultimate goal is to one day set up his own auto restoration center, where he can take dilapidated vintage cars and turn them into gems that people would be willing to pay top dollar for. With his expertise and determination, there’s no doubt that Joel will achieve this dream and continue to make a difference in the world.
When not working at Heritors Labs, Joel indulges his passion for cars by restoring vehicles from scratch. He also has a passion for fitness and constantly pushes himself to be his best. Joel’s unwavering commitment to achieving his goals makes him an invaluable member of the Heritors Labs team and an inspiration to all who know him.
Joel’s academic and professional credentials are a testament to his dedication and expertise. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Ashesi University, Joel has a solid foundation in the principles and practices of his field. But he didn’t stop there. Joel is also PMI certified, having undergone rigorous training to handle projects of all sizes and intensity.
