Ghana Digital Economy Studies
Context
Ghana needed cross-sector evidence to identify digital-transformation priorities and practical opportunities for implementation.
The challenge
Research across communications and connectivity, agriculture, education, entrepreneurship and industry, and the civil service needed to be reviewed and brought into a coherent set of recommendations.
Our contribution
Derrydean Dadzie served as the Ministry’s contracted Digital Economy Studies Coordinator, overseeing consultant research, reviewing deliverables and producing the consolidated review and Quick Wins framework.
What we delivered
A consolidated synoptic review of the sector studies and a Digital Economy Quick Wins framework, drawing together sector findings, indicators, gaps and recommendations.
Outcome
The Ministry received consolidated findings and a practical framework for prioritizing digital-economy action across the sectors studied. The archive records final consultant reports in 2023 and submission of the consolidated review and Quick Wins framework in February 2024.
Evidence
Supported by the Ministry contract, study-delivery correspondence and the Consolidated Report and Digital Economy Quick Wins framework for the Digital Economy Studies of Selected Sectors in Ghana.
