Gender-responsive digital design

Research and technology consultingEngagement lead: Derrydean Dadzie

Context

The Digital Transformation for Inclusive Entrepreneurship in Ghana initiative included work on the usability and accessibility of digital solutions.

The challenge

Digital services need to reflect the context and needs of women and informal entrepreneurs.

Our contribution

Derrydean Dadzie contributed as a short-term expert contracted through GFA Consulting Group for work within the GIZ-supported initiative.

What we delivered

User-research and testing materials, co-creation guidance, validation frameworks and contributions to an open-source UI/UX guide for gender-responsive digital services.

Outcome

The work produced research and guide-development materials to inform more inclusive digital design. The available records establish the contribution; final guide publication is not established in this case.

Evidence

GFA/GIZ workstream records and intermediary research reports document the role and contribution.
